Moonee Valley Cricket Club – Women’s Coach

 

The progressive and forward-thinking Moonee Valley Cricket Club requires a coach for its women’s cricket teams for Season 2009/10.

Moonee Valley – the biggest cricket club in Victoria – has now had two seasons in the VWCA, and fielded two teams in the one-day grades in 2008/09.

The Club is seeking either a playing or non-playing coach, and would be happy to consider either a female or a male for the non-playing role.

Captaincy of one of the teams will also be considered for a suitable playing applicant.

Our Club is based at Ormond Park, Pattison St, Moonee Ponds, with secondary facilities at Debney Park in Flemington.

The Club is also seeking extra players – both experienced players and newcomers wishing to take up the sport.

The successful applicant for the Coach position should:

·        Have played at a suitable standard of cricket.

·        Have the ability to develop and implement pre-season training schedules.

·        Have a proven ability to train, develop, inspire and lead a club and its players to success.

·        Be able to take training a minimum 2 nights per week.

·        Be able to provide individual coaching during training, particularly to the younger senior players.

·        Assist players at all levels with the development of individual skills.

·        Be able to help develop the leadership qualities of our senior list.

·        Be able to assist with the coaching of our girls playing in the local junior competition.

·        Ensure that players at all levels enjoy their cricket.

·        Be prepared to embrace our club philosophy, particularly its emphasis on junior development.

 
The women’s teams are part of the wider Moonee Valley Cricket Club, which in 2008/09 fielded 26 senior and junior teams. The successful applicant would report to the Senior Coach of the Club. For more information on the Club see our website: http://mooneevalley.cricketvictoria.com.au

A jointly formed union in 2008/2009 to encourage women to enjoy playing and being involved in cricket.We are prepared to consider either a playing or non-playing coach. The successful applicant should:
·        Have played an equivalent or higher standard of cricket.
·        Have the ability to develop and implement pre-season training schedules.
·        Have a proven ability to train, develop, inspire and lead the team to success.
·        Be able to train every Wednesday.
·        Be able to provide individual coaching during training, particularly to the younger senior players.
·        Assist players at all levels with the development of individual skills.
·        Ensure that players at all levels enjoy their cricket.

Campbellfield NWCA Cougars Ladies Tea

A jointly formed union in 2008/2009 to encourage women to enjoy playing and being involved in cricket

 

Players are required for our Senior Ladies team for season 2009/2010. 

 

No experience necessary as hands on training will be provided.

 

Training is on a Wednesday evening. 

 

Game days are Sunday with the exception of 2 games which are played on Saturdays

 

All games are one day games and are in close proximity to our home ground

 

Age is no barrier our youngest players are 13 and other teams have ladies over 60

SYDENHAM HILLSIDE CRICKET CLUB

Sydenham Hillside Cricket Club is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Captain/Coach for the upcoming 2009/10 season. 
We are a young energetic club seeking the right person with good leadership and communication qualities who can work with young inspiring cricketers to reach their cricketing potential.
SHCC is affiliated with the North West Cricket Association and currently fields 5 senior and 8 junior teams.
The club is willing to negotiate a remuneration package for the suitable successful candidate.

STRATHMORE CRICKET CLUB is seeking a Playing Coach for Season 2009/2010
Strathmore CC is a successful club fielding 5 Senior sides and 15 junior sides in the past season.
Our Clubrooms and training facilities are located at Lebanon Reserve (Syd McGain Oval) in Mascoma Street, Strathmore.
Three of the senior sides play on turf under the auspice of the VTCA, while two senior sides (one a Veterans team) and our juniors (under 10’s to under 16’s) play on synthetic wickets through the NWCA.
Last season, the first eleven is played in the Senior A (VTCA) division.
The main playing fields utilized by the teams are Lebanon Reserve, Cross Keys Oval, Strathnaver Reserve and Boeing Reserve.
We are seeking a playing senior coach, however, would consider a non-playing coach. The person we are looking for, should have played or coached in a generally high standard of cricket and have considerable experience.
The applicant should be able to arrange and attend senior training to develop our young players.  Individual and personal training may be required to improve the abilities and techniques of our squad. The applicant should possess pronounced leadership, management and communication skills.

Playing Coach Required: Buckley Park Cricket Club is seeking a playing coach for the 2009/10 season. BPCC currently has 4 Senior and 2 Junior Teams and is located in North Essendon. We have state of the art brand new facilities which will be ready for next season.  BPCC is seeking a driven and results orientated coach, who can also contribute to our junior program. Previous senior coaching experience or playing experience at a higher level is a definite advantage.
